Lime Sulphur Dip Smell

Dover

After a "day week" stood at 12.12. then another trip for me on the program. Together with a German student, I am using the train in the morning at just after 8 am after Dover down. For a "Rail Card" holders (the English rail card) cost the return trip about 18 pounds. After about 2 hours and 2 times change at "Clapham Junction" and "London Victoria" at half past 11 am we arrived at Dover on the English south coast. I had known this city before only by my coach tours to England, where I am here always arrived by ferry. From the city I've seen this time and not too much because we go directly from the station towards " Dover Castle . The road from the station there took about 30 minutes. Since we have taken at the station or a free brochure with the attractions of the area, we paid as an entry in the castle, or rather the vast area, only half the normal price. The prize was a guided tour of the tunnel system, including that in the 2nd World War as the British military command center was used. From here, including the evacuation of Dunkirk (1940) was controlled. After the tour we spent additional time with good weather on the premises or in other parts of the castle.

We then walked to the chalk cliffs of Dover along to "St. Margaret's Bay," which lasted about 90 minutes. From the coast you could even see the French coast 22 miles away. In St. Margaret's Bay "We sought the dark, and we had our Trip that was supposed to lead to 'deal' off key. According to "deal" we were then still be won, but with the bus. ;-) After a pizza and a pint in a pub we went back to return to 19h.
