I knit but very happy. And now a bit faster - I'm knitting socks on circular needles discovered for myself. And the hubby now a pair of beautiful hand cuffs with thumb for PC work.

(For men, hand cuffs, I caught a wonderful yarn of long, Omega, in shade 2276 -. Dark blue gray 50% nylon microfiber, 50% acrylic microfiber - cuddly soft and absolutely without wool scratch factor)
Yes I know ... for I promised to sew. I did too, but I show can not because it's a secret surprise secret ... and it is still not finished.
But I can tell you that my adaptation trick has some work, even if I _after_ the application but have decided to use the materials in the original. Some I had to replace, but a large part of the selection is so ended up in the quilt and it looks chic.
The trick would be the way chlorine bleach and afterwards, a Schwarzteebad fixation with vinegar ... However, one should choose for strongly colored substances and if appropriate, a bleach test ... else that happens here:
By and large, beautifully faded ... substance is not only the dots. For the already very bright Substances all the more, some were a few minutes in dilute bleach almost white.
But that was another stroke of genius from me!

My grandmother has also facilitated (now I do know is where I got the collecting input) - a bag Seidenstrickgarn in three colors ... they did not even know what she was doing with the 50 balls of copper and petrol, and 15 in balls of chocolate brown.
lack of employment is probably not a realistic scenario in my future.
